Who We Are

Consulting Structural Hawaii, Inc. is a Structural Engineering Firm centrally located in the Halawa Industrial area of Aiea, Hawaii and is led by Mr. Ethan W. Okuna, PE, SEAOH Past President.

The company, in Moiliili for its first 28 years, was founded in 1987 by Mr. Roy K. Yamashiro, PE, LEED-AP, FACEC, SEAOH Past President and Life Member, and Mr. Gary S. Suzuki, PE.

We have worked on 3300+ projects and have traveled the entire Pacific Rim and more over the last 30+ years.

Our Services

We have proudly served the Navy with seven prime engineering contracts and have served as structural engineering subconsultants for all DoD service divisions here in Hawaii, Guam, Kwajalein, Chuuk, Palau, Johnson Island, Japan, Korea, Diego Garcia, and Australia. We have provided services on all the main Hawaiian Islands for Hawaii State and the four Hawaii Counties.
